Employment Opportunities

Founded in 2006 by Nicholas and Catherine Sparks, TESGS is an independent school with a public purpose, providing a globally focused educational and character-development learning community for K-12 students. While the vast majority of our current student body of over 500 students resides in Craven County NC, our distinctive Mission & Guiding Principles over time will attract additional students from much farther afield, including highly qualified students from other countries. Our current students and faculty travel and serve annually in countries both within and beyond the Western Hemisphere, engaging diverse cultural and religious and historical traditions. TESGS' faculty includes individuals who have earned their graduate degrees at 1st-tier world institutions of higher education, including Duke University, UNC Chapel Hill, University of Sydney and University College Dublin. Cross-cultural and interdisciplinary studies, outdoor education, creative and performing arts, and service learning are at the heart of TESGS' pedagogic priorities. TESGS is fully accredited by SACS and SAIS, and is a committed equal opportunity employer.
