Founded in 2006 by Nicholas and Catherine Sparks, TESGS is an independent school with a public purpose, providing a globally focused educational and character-development learning community for K-12 students. Varsity Boys Basketball Coach:
The Epiphany School of Global Studies is seeking an experienced, dynamic Men’s Varsity Basketball Head Coach. The candidate should be committed to achieving excellence throughout our school and athletic program. To be eligible for this position, applicants must possess the following:
•High School basketball coaching experience;
•High level of personal integrity and professionalism;
•High level of organizational and communication skills; •Demonstrated effective leadership ability;

Dual Language Program Coordinator:
The Epiphany School of Global Studies seeks a Dual Language Program Coordinator for grades K-12 who will also fulfill teaching duties as a full-time faculty member, beginning in September 2017. Epiphany is a thriving K-12 independent school in historic New Bern, North Carolina. We are a college-preparatory community of faith that is committed to creating globally aware students who are prepared to thrive in the world around them. The Dual Language Program Coordinator (DLPC) is responsible for overseeing the development, vertical alignment, growth, and assessment of the school’s Spanish dual language immersion program for the school’s immersed and non-immersed students engaged in Spanish language learning.The DLPC will collaborate with school administrators, teaching staff, parents and community agencies to provide quality instructional programs and to perform other duties directly related to this position description. The DLPC will report directly to divisional directors and establish effective, ongoing communication channels with their teaching peers.
The DLPC will have a deep understanding of the core purposes of the dual immersion program and research behind the program’s effectiveness. In addition, the DLPC will need to interpret and analyze student achievement data across multiple grade levels to make recommendations for program improvement and growth.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in education, a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a dual language school, and be fluent in Spanish as his/her native language. Applications will be accepted through October 12, 2017.
