This morning, our Henderson campus family joined together at the weekly Chapel service to celebrate the Henderson Campus Dedication Ceremony, an annual ceremony where our lower school students and faculty make their Honor Code Pledge.

During this time-honored tradition, the students and staff reaffirm their commitment to Epiphany's honor code, as well as our core values of respect, responsibility, service, and integrity.

Thank you to the families who joined us at this important ceremony, and to the students, faculty, and staff who committed to JOYfully dedicating to the honor code and core values, especially our Kindergarteners and new students who made the commitment for the first time today. We are so proud of you all!

The New Bern chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution (SARS) sponsors an annual American Revolution-themed poster contest for elementary students in grades 3-5. This year’s subject is an “American Revolutionary War Person”. Third-graders Lyla and Riley were recognized by the local SARS representatives for their entries in the contest. Lyla’s poster was awarded first place both locally and regionally, while Riley’s received second place.

Juniors took to the stage last week for their Independent Research & Presentations. For an entire semester, they have chosen a topic, researched, wrote a paper, and then delivered a 10-minute presentation before the student body and families. Well done, class of ‘26!

Hundreds of excited students, proud parents, and delighted community members strolled through Epiphany's pop-up art display at the Harrison Center during the May ArtWalk. Paintings, sculptures, sketches, collages, pottery pieces, and collaborative displays lined the walls and filled the tables of the entire room. Thank you to Christ Church and Bank of the Arts for allowing us the opportunity to showcase our visual artists each May. Thanks go out to our hard-working art teachers, too. We love sharing our work with the community!

Our performers and visual artists have been working incredibly hard through performance season! In just the last month, we've had a choral music and concert band program, several art shows at school, three musical theatre performances, and we carried all of our art for grades K-12 downtown to participate in ArtWalk. Thanks to everyone who participated, especially our students and teachers. We couldn't have done it without all of your help. Here are pictures from our spring musical, "Let it Be: A Celebration of the music of The Beatles." More pictures to come!

Our Black History Month Chapel was postponed due to bad weather back in February. so we were REALLY ready to hear our Middle School Chorus perform and listen to a message given by Rev. Zeb Hough during yesterday's Chapel service. Rev. Hough spoke about how important it is to hear every part of a story, and challenged us to find a new story and share it with others. The chorus sang a beautiful version of "Nothin' Gonna Stumble My Feet." Thanks to all who made this presentation possible.
