Hundreds of excited students, proud parents, and delighted community members strolled through Epiphany's pop-up art display at the Harrison Center during the May ArtWalk. Paintings, sculptures, sketches, collages, pottery pieces, and collaborative displays lined the walls and filled the tables of the entire room. Thank you to Christ Church and Bank of the Arts for allowing us the opportunity to showcase our visual artists each May. Thanks go out to our hard-working art teachers, too. We love sharing our work with the community!

Our performers and visual artists have been working incredibly hard through performance season! In just the last month, we've had a choral music and concert band program, several art shows at school, three musical theatre performances, and we carried all of our art for grades K-12 downtown to participate in ArtWalk. Thanks to everyone who participated, especially our students and teachers. We couldn't have done it without all of your help. Here are pictures from our spring musical, "Let it Be: A Celebration of the music of The Beatles." More pictures to come!

Our Black History Month Chapel was postponed due to bad weather back in February. so we were REALLY ready to hear our Middle School Chorus perform and listen to a message given by Rev. Zeb Hough during yesterday's Chapel service. Rev. Hough spoke about how important it is to hear every part of a story, and challenged us to find a new story and share it with others. The chorus sang a beautiful version of "Nothin' Gonna Stumble My Feet." Thanks to all who made this presentation possible.

Epiphany was honored to host New Bern Chamber of Commerce's "Business Before Hours" event this morning. The program is held monthly to allow fellow chamber members to network and learn more about the businesses and nonprofits in our town. Special thanks to Mrs. Darlene and Mr. Reese for the delicious breakfast! We'd also like to thank all of the student ambassadors who arrived early to greet our guests. We enjoyed sharing the many things that make Epiphany so unique and special.

Epiphany is proud to partner with the Career & College Promise program at Craven Community College. CCP is a tuition-free dual-enrollment program that allows eligible high school students to earn college credits before high school graduation. Many of our students take advantage of this wonderful program to get a jumpstart on college. You can hear more about CCP -- including the experiences of two Epiphany students -- on the video below. https://youtu.be/fMmcOlf0tFg?si=WXriHB9T29g4M02I
