An 'EGG-xciting' auction item: For the Epiphany Gala taking place this Saturday night, the third grade class partnered with a local studio, Kiln' Thyme Ceramics in Stonewall, to make a special project. They discussed supporting a local business while also contributing to their education and the gala. The third grade artists each decorated two ceramic eggs, one to donate and one to keep as a momento. Each student painted their eggs with the glaze color of their choice and eagerly awaited the final product. These unique glazes had small pieces of glass that burst in the kiln to make one-of-kind color patterns. It was very exciting when the eggs arrived back from their firing. Both the basket and plate are customized with the Epiphany falcon logo on the bottom. You'll see this special project and many more on the auction item list - coming soon!

Our actors and singers had a wonderful time at the State ITS (International Thespian Society) Festival at ECU last weekend. Our group of five students - Karina, Caroline, Macey, Lily, and Asa - participated in tech challenges, dance classes, and watched many great student films and one-act plays. They also competed in the monologue and musical solo categories. Macey and Asa received "Excellent" ratings for their performances, and Lily earned a "Superior," which means she moves on to compete at the International Thespian Festival in Bloomington, Indiana, this summer. Congrats to all!

It was a big weekend for a great team! The girls finished with a silver medal in the medium varsity cheer music non-tumbling division. They also earned a superior performance in GameTime varsity 1a and were selected by the judges to receive the Best Dance award out of all dance sections in the entire competition. The girls earned 3 Hit Zero recognitions out of their 4 performances. All 12 team members earned Scholar Athlete recognition and Cadence Crowe was recognized as having the highest GPA of all high school competitors. What an amazing finish to this year! Great job, team!
