Epiphany is a proud sponsor of "Empty Bowls: Nourishing Hearts & Art in Craven County."
The event was held today at Temple Baptist church. Empty Bowls is a partnership between Religious Community Services and the Craven Arts Council & Gallery. This uplifting tradition — 15 years in New Bern — brings together local businesses, artisans, and community members to fight hunger and support the arts—all with a bowl of soup and a handmade treasure in hand. Thank you to our staff and students who volunteered their time today.

Epiphany cheerleaders had a great weekend! They brought home a Classic Champion banner for a first place finish in the Medium Varsity Cheer Music division and a third place finish in the 1A Game Time division. The Game Time division was so tight that only 0.2 points separated first place and third place. The girls are super motivated to practice and work hard so they can take that Game Time title at Nationals! Congratulations!

The dance scheduled for this Saturday will be postponed. Stay tuned!

WINTER WEATHER UPDATE

Epiphany weather update:

We are thrilled to share that our Scholastic book fair raised an incredible $7,181.93! This wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing support of our parents, students, and staff. Your contributions not only foster a love for reading but also help provide resources for our school and classrooms. Together, we’re building a community of enthusiastic readers!

Yesterday, we gathered together as a whole school community to celebrate the start of the season of Epiphany and the origin of our school's name. The Feast of Epiphany (typically celebrated on January 6) recognizes the journey of the wisemen and the gifts they shared with Jesus.
Here at Epiphany we strive to uncover the individual gifts of each of our students as they travel on their unique journeys through life.
Our magi are voted on by the staff and include two seniors and one staff member who “journey well.” They persevere through trials and they stay the course. They do not seek attention, but diligently and often unnoticed carry their gifts in order to ultimately share them so that others may gain attention and recognition. Congratulations to Macey, Davis, and Coach Bradley, who were this year’s kings.
After the service, our staff and students were treated to a "feast." Mr. Reese and Mrs. Darlene worked very hard to serve a delicious BBQ meal. Each advisory ate together and enjoyed cakes decorated by Mrs. Darlene.

Please join us as our fourth and fifth graders present their Christmas concert on Thursday in Founders Hall on the Henderson Campus.
