Last week, Epiphany's choral music students and the first class of Epiphany dance students took to the stage for a beautiful concert. Thanks to Mrs. Rosney and Mrs. Roussel for sharing their gifts with our students.

What an amazing concert our instrumental students put on tonight! Thank you for a fun evening!

The foyer was filled with beautiful art by our Visual Arts students at tonight's instrumental concert. If you missed it, the show will be on display again this Thursday at 6:30 (before the Dance and Choral Music concert that starts at 7). Please join us!

Congrats to the cast and crew of "Pirates of Penzance, Jr." It was a wildly entertaining show, and we're so proud of our musical theatre students! Thank you to everyone who came out to help us and to all who attended the show. We especially want to recognize Mrs. Rosney and Mrs. Roussel for their dedication to this production and to our students.

Festival of the Arts at Epiphany - Enjoy Musical Theatre, Dance, Choral Music, Instrumental Music, and Visual Arts throughout the next week!

It's almost showtime! Tickets are now available for Epiphany's student-run show, "Pirates of Penzance, Jr." It's easier than ever to purchase tickets: online, via QR code, and at the Trent Campus front desk. Shows are April 22, 23, and 24.

It's almost showtime! Please join us at the Lower School Wednesday night at 6. Our students are going to put on an amazing talent show!

We are happy to share the news that 11th grader Cadence Hight has qualified to compete in the International Thespian Society's international competition for the second year in a row. Her musical solo "Screw Loose" from Cry Baby earned her a spot to compete at the state level, where she received a superior rating. The International Thespian Festival will take place this summer in Bloomington, Indiana. Congratulations, Cadence!

Join us at the Lower School Talent Show! 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30th

Our Lower School Talent Show is going to be amazing! Our K-5 students have been working hard for the show, which will start at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30. We have a magician, several gymnasts, a few instrumentalists, some singers and more! Make sure to mark your calendars - you don't want to miss this!

We're having a wonderful weekend at the NC International Thespian Festival competition at UNCG! Emily Haber and Cadence Hight are competing in the musical solo category, and Zabby Memering is competing in the Scenic Design category. Back home, Macey Coughlin and Madelyn Coble are participating (virtually) in the musical solo category as well. All five presentations are complete, and we're now enjoying tech challenge workshops and classes on improv, comedy, and stage combat. We even participated in a "trashion" show. We'll be watching a one-act show put on by students this evening and attending the awards ceremony tomorrow afternoon to see if anyone moves on to the Nationals round. Break legs, all!

Congratulations to our new Tri-M Music Honor Society members! We celebrated their induction with a ceremony and reception this morning. New inductees are Zoe Brougher, Madelyn Coble, Kevin Coughlin, Macey Coughlin, Cadence Hight, Lilly Hunt, Tucker Newton, Ethan Nipper, Mason Oliver, Peyton Raper, Callie Restelli, Logan Seeley, and Hannah Van Dyke.

The Epiphany Talent Show of 2022 was an enormous success! We were treated to beautiful songs, fun dances, an entertaining MC, and even a staff fighting demonstration. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this such an enjoyable evening.

Congratulations to Madelyn Coble, Zabby Memering, Emily Haber, Macey Coughlin, and Cadence Hight. These students earned either a superior or excellent overall score at the ITS regional event and are now allowed to compete at the NC Thespian Festival at UNCG in March! Break legs! The photos are of a scene Zabby Memering created for the play "Puffs," by Matt Cox. She earned a Superior score in the Scenic Design category.

The Middle School and Upper School Talent Show will begin at 7 p.m. this Saturday night! Admission is free. Bring the entire family to one of our most anticipated events of the school year.

Epiphany's Musical Theatre teachers, Mrs. Rosney and Mrs. Roussel, were like kids at Christmas when this box of MTI materials arrived. We have 24 students participating in "Pirates of Penzance, Jr." April 22-24. Mark your calendars!

Our Arts Department continues to grow this semester, and our students (and teachers) couldn't be happier! Mrs. Roussel just started working with her Middle School dancers. During the first week of class, they learned how to properly warm up, and each student created their own little dance phrase, based on the amount of syllables in their name. Our new Musical Theatre class is also off to a roaring start! The actors - under the instruction of Mrs. Rosney and Mrs. Roussel - have already auditioned for roles in The Pirates of Penzance, Jr., which will be performed this Spring in the Epiphany Performing Arts Center. There is so much talent in this robust class, and we know the show is going to be spectacular. What an exciting time for the dancers, singers, and actors at Epiphany!

This week Kindergarten learned about feelings. Today they created a collage that represented how they were feeling today.

More Buddy Day fun!

Thank you to all the Lower School parents who were able to join us for our picnic today!
