Here's a great excuse to skip cooking on Tuesday night! Head to Chipotle tomorrow between 5 and 9 p.m. A third of the event sales will be donated directly to The Epiphany School Spirit Squad!

The students, faculty, and administration of Epiphany would like to thank our Head of School, Dr. Dwight Carlblom, for his generous donation, which he presented during the Feast of Epiphany service on Friday. The money he donated will be used to complete lighting renovations in the Performing Arts Center, which will benefit all who use the stage and sit in the audience. We are very excited to brighten up our stage and create additional lighting options for the many presentations and productions that take place onstage throughout the year. Thank you, Dr. Carlblom!

Come out and support Epiphany's Drama Department at 7 p.m. TODAY and again at 7 p.m. on Saturday. Our Middle School and Upper School drama classes will each perform a play in the Performing Arts Center on the Trent campus. Admission is free!

Every year, Worldstrides hosts an event called the Honors Performance Series for middle school, high school, and young adult musicians. Candidates are nominated by music professionals to apply for the program. These candidates then prepare an audition and complete a written application. This is the first year that Epiphany students have applied for the program, and we are so excited to share that each of the applicants were accepted! These students - (l to r) Emily, Amelia, Maddie, Bennett, Zoe, and Caroline - are now eligible to attend the Honors Performance Series in Carnegie Hall in New York City in February. During this week-long trip, students will interact with industry professionals, guest speakers and conductors, and other students from all around the world. In addition to performing at the world-famous Carnegie Hall, students will also spend time exploring other famous landmarks in NYC. High school students are even eligible to receive college credits for their participation in the event. If you see these students around, make sure to congratulate them on their achievement!

What a wonderful presentation our second, third, and fifth graders experienced on Monday morning! Thanks to a generous grant from Atlantic Dance Theatre, two members of the Carolina Ballet came into our Performing Arts Center to talk about the life of a professional dancer and demonstrate the basics of ballet (warm-ups, work at the barre, costumes, exercise and healthy lifestyles, and performances). We were then treated to a beautiful performance and a question and answer session - our students ask the BEST questions. At the end of the presentation, all of the students were invited onstage to learn a short dance. Thank you to dancers Laurel Dorn and Luke Potgeiter, and manager Eleanor Zywicki. Look for more great pictures in the Friday Flyer!

Our choral music students and Spirit Squad represented Epiphany well this weekend at MumFest! They performed at the Gazebo at Union Point Park to a huge crowd. Even Freddy was there to enjoy the songs, dances, and beautiful weather.
