Pastor Kirk brought in his Christmas gift to teach us about PERSEVERANCE. Meet Rocky! He is determined and was the perfect way to illustrate the idea that working through hard things is worthwhile. We had a photoshoot afterwards - he even made it into one of the theatre tech sets for a snap!

Epiphany staff and students were honored with CarolinaEast Foundation's 2023 Outstanding Community Partner of the Year Award this morning at our Chapel service. We are humbled and grateful to receive this honor. Community service is an important mission of our school. Thank you, CarolinaEast Foundation!

Epiphany pep rallies always get us hyped for game night! Thanks to our Senate for the fun game of "Human Hungry Hungry Hippo." Good luck to all of our athletes tonight!

Congratulations to all who competed in the International Thespian Society regional competition last week. Those receiving excellent and superior scores have been invited to compete in the state competition, which will be held March 1-3 at ECU.

Here are some pictures of our Middle School drama students performing "Law and Order: Fairy Tale Unit." The actors were hilarious! We're so proud of their hard work on this show. Bravo!

Kindergarten through 2nd grade parents joined our littlest Falcons for lunch outside during our Parent Picnic! We are grateful for the picnic tables that our PTO purchased for us.

It was a HUGE week for Epiphany's performing arts students. First, some pictures from the wildly entertaining "Clue, High School Edition" performed by our Upper School students. Incredible set, hilarious costumes, and lots of hijinks! Congrats to cast and crew.

With everyone taking exams, members of the Leadership Team stepped up to work the Epiphany shift at RCS today. It was an honor and a blessing to serve.

Please join us tonight for our Choral Music and Concert Band performances. The night will open with a student art show in the rear foyer of the Trent Campus at 6:30 p.m., and the concert begins at 7. Admission is free.

If you're an Epiphany Falcon flying off to a land far away over the holidays, please stop by the school store on the Trent Campus during school hours. These lightweight white flags are for sale for $3. We want to see how far Freddie the Falcon will travel around the world. He has already been to New York and the Dominican Republic...where will he go next? If your family is traveling, please consider bringing along a flag for a picture with Freddie. When you return, send the photo to Mrs. Ostmann. We may feature your photo on social media and in our school magazine.

Our kindergartners, first graders, and second graders prepared our hearts for the Christmas season at their concert this morning. Special thanks go to our K-2 students and Señor Delima for the wonderful songs!

Christmas is in the air! Look at all the performances coming up at Epiphany this month:

Congratulations to our new Science National Honor Society inductees! We celebrated their induction with a reception this morning.

The Fine Arts Department at Epiphany inducted 22 students into the International Thespian Society (ITS), the National Art Honor Society (NAHS), and/or Tri-M Music Honor Society today. We are so proud of these students, and encourage them to continue to pursue their artistic goals as we grow the arts at Epiphany. Congratulations to all!

You're not gonna believe the talent we'll have on display tonight at the Lower School! These students are amazing. Please join us at 6:30 p.m. in Founders Hall on the Henderson Campus. Admission is free!

Two talented Epiphany students have artwork selected to be shown at the Craven Arts Gallery and Studio (CAGS) located at 309 Middle Street in downtown New Bern. Their work will be on display from November until the end of January. A perfect time to view their work would be at ArtWalk tomorrow, November 10, from 5 to 8 P.M. The display space at CAGS was made possible through the Martha Jenkins Fund. This fund is in honor of Martha Jenkins, a former New Bern High School art teacher and is meant to help recognize talented high school students in Craven County high schools.
Christian, grade 12, has been developing his photography skills and has three of his photos on nature displayed. Paw, grade 9, is displaying an acrylic painting on the theme of peace and a torn paper-collage self-portrait. Congratulations to both of these students.

Join the Epiphany family at Chipotle tonight between 4 and 8 p.m. with the flyer below. Thirty-three percent of sales during that time will be donated to Epiphany's Rise Against Hunger event. Make sure to bring this flyer with you or use the code on the flyer if ordering online so that your purchases count toward our fundraiser. Thank you for supporting this annual event!
