Student Life

Students hanging outAt Epiphany, we understand the importance of creating a balanced, safe environment where learning can continue outside of the classroom. We’ve considered every aspect of the student experience when designing our curriculum. From powerful global experiences to enriching extracurriculars to meaningful, faith-based service, students have a wide variety of opportunities to explore their interests and broaden their understanding of the world around them.

Global Experiences

As our name suggests, ensuring that students have access to meaningful global experiences is a key aspect of student success. By graduation, 100% of our student body will have experienced at least one study abroad or distance learning opportunity. In the last ten years, students have visited 33 different countries. We introduce experiential learning opportunities starting in middle school with trips to Washington D.C. and Colonial Williamsburg and grow those opportunities into week-long excursions to destinations in South America, Western Europe, and even other places in North America.

Extracurricular Activities

A rich athletic program and a diverse range of clubs are hallmarks of our extracurricular activities. Students explore new creative interests in our strong performing arts program, discover passions in our wide array of clubs or learn the value of teamwork and determination in one of our many Falcon athletic programs. While we believe in helping students find global experiences to broaden their understanding, we have plenty of enriching activities right here at school to keep kids active, working together, and discovering interests that will foster a lifetime of learning.

Love Thy Neighbor

Our curriculum was developed under the premise of “Love Thy Neighbor.” Service plays a vital role in creating a well-rounded student experience. We have a variety of faith-based worship and service opportunities for students to discover the personal fulfillment of stewardship to our community. Community gatherings and regular chapel services give students the chance to reflect on their own spiritual journey. Constant service opportunities let students interact in meaningful ways with the community and understand the impact they can make in the world around them.

Community Service Opportunities

  • Volunteering with literacy programs.
  • Aiding local retirement and recovery communities.
  • Cleaning parks and landmarks.
  • Assisting at local hospitals.

performing & creative arts

We encourage our students to explore any interests outside academia, and our Performing and Creative Arts programs provide a variety of opportunities for students to explore channels of self-expression. Epiphany is equipped for students to immerse themselves in new experiences with the engaging resources found in our Performing Arts Center and other facilities. Throughout the year, our events in the arts bring both the Epiphany and local communities together in fellowship. The value of theater, music, visual art are vital to the development of well-rounded students and are ingrained in the Epiphany identity.
